Forward Slash Acting Like ALT Key

If you notice the forward slash "/" acting like the ALT key and would like to change it, use the following steps for Excel 2007:

1. Click the Office button in the upper-left corner of your screen. 
2. Click Excel Options at the bottom menu.
3. From the Options window, select Advanced.
4. Scroll all the way to the bottom and look for Lotus Compatibility.
5. Remove the "/" from the Microsoft Office Excel Menu key field.
6. You can replace with another key (if desired, but I've never found any need for it).
7. Click OK to save your changes.
