Please create threads in the appropriate forum:

In order for your thread to get the exposure it deserves, please make sure you choose the most specific forum available related to the topic. This will not only ensure that users can quickly and easily locate your post, but it will also minimize any re-categorization (moving threads) performed by moderators. Please do not post the same thread in multiple threads as this is considered spamming.

Search before creating a new thread:

It is possible that the topic or question you'd like to ask already has an active thread on Teck-Karma.com. Please use the search tab located next to the forum tab near the top of your window. This will prevent duplication of topics and ensure interested users can discuss the topic in one place.

Keep posts related to the original thread topic:

Please don't hijack threads with posts that are not related to the original thread topic. This creates confusion and prevents focused discussions. If you've got a question, simply use search feature to see if it's already been answered, and if you don't find what you need, simply create a new thread.

If you need help using the features of this message board, notice a user abusing the forums, have a formal announcement, or are interested in advertising at Tech-Karma.com, please contact a moderator via private message. You'll need to have an account setup in order to send private messages.

Tech-Karma.com moderators reserve the right to edit/remove any content that is deemed inappropriate. Chronic offenses may result in temporary disabling or termination of user accounts.

BE COURTEOUS:

Last, but most importantly, be courteous to the other users on the site. Great discussions can be had and much can be learned in this type of environment, but a level of respect must be maintained. Keep a thick skin and avoid retaliatory posts. While the internet is anonymous, there are still real people behind the usernames and avatars. Please do not abuse direct communication methods (such as private messaging). If you happen to notice abuse or inappropriate behavior, please notify to a moderator via private message.
