LG Ally Wallpaper Resolution

Wallpaper resolution or size on the LG Ally can be somewhat confusing, especially if you're coming from a phone where the wallpaper image size matched the screen resolution...  The background LG Ally wallpaper consists of a single image file (jpg or png) with different portions of the wallpaper image displayed depending on which section of the home screen you are currently viewing (left, center, right).

The entire size of the background wallpaper is 960x800 pixels.  Each wallpaper subsection measures 480x800 pixels in size and is displayed on the LG Ally in the following way:
