Finally, a Smartphone Holder That's Not Proprietary

The Zhip clip (pronounced "Zip") is a nifty little device that should hold your smartphone in a variety of situations.

In the times of proprietary adapters, accessories, etc... for every smartphone under the sun it's refreshing to see an accessory that works with all different makes and models of cell phones and also the iPod Touch.  Enter the Zhip clip... 

You just pop your cell phone into the padded polycarbonate clip and use the "sturdy, 'no-drop' 3-foot extendable zip cord" to anchor your smartphone or iPod Touch to nearly anything.  The clip also doubles as a table-top stand!  Entertain the kids while on long trips in the car, anchor to workout equipment, and watch movies while you workout...  

Current price is under $15, so it's cheaper than most proprietary accessories...  Available via Amazon, Best Buy, or the Zhip clip website.

None of us have used one of these yet, but they look slick and are looking forward to getting our hands on one.
